Welcome to Hoosier Heritage Homestead!
We are an old-school, DIY lovin, family homestead where fun and memories are made.
Located in Carbon, Indiana we are moving back to some farm property that has been in our family for over 100 years!
A little about us:
Noah and Elizabeth both work in public education (ironically). Noah is a high school business teacher, and Elizabeth works part-time as our school corporations Adult Education Director. She helps adults and folks who high school didn’t work for them obtain their GED and obtain workforce certifications to better themselves.
We have 5 kids. Henry (oldest), Elliott, Benjamin, and twins Amelia and Arthur (youngest).
Since 2020 we started homeschooling our kids and it has been one of the best decisions we could have ever made!
In May of 2022, we bought 5 acres that had multiple barns, garages, and a farmhouse and we have been renovating it with a goal of moving in on June 1st 2023. We document our home renovation which we are doing ourselves and share it on our Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube page (buttons below will take you there):
Our hope is that whether we have ever met in person, or not, you will feel like you are part of our family! We share our victories and defeats and try to live open and transparent lives. For more in depth conversations with Noah and Elizabeth, check out the Podcast tab and listen to our show called Family Table. Here we give weekly update on how things are going around the homestead and dive into a specific topic that we are either dealing with personally or are just exploring ideas.
Thanks for joining us, and Get Weird!
